Do you have strong financial analysis background? Do you have experience monitoring the implementation of project finance agreements either to corporate clients or to Public Private Partnerships? Do you have the communications skills required to engage with clients, borrowers, co-lenders and internal counterparts?

The Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), a member of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) Group, supports the private sector and state-owned enterprises through financing in the form of loans, equity investments, and guarantees.
We are currently looking for an experienced Portfolio Management Officer who will have at least 6 years of professional relevant experience in the credit assessment and/or rating of corporate and/or project finance counterparts, gained within a bank, financial institution and/or rating agency.
By ensuring that assigned counterparts comply with IIC internal risk policies and guidelines and thus contributing to the timely and efficient implementation of our projects, he/she will ensure a most positive impact to the life of millions of people in the region we serve.
As Portfolio Management Officer, you will be overseeing a portfolio of loan and guarantee transactions with project finance and corporate counterparts.
You will analyze information to assess counterparty compliance with financing agreements and to mitigate risk, conduct financial statement analysis, analyze financial projections, prepare risk rating proposals and periodic supervision reports to assess the credit standing of the IIC’s counterparts, assess status / events affecting loans and guarantees and, where necessary, disseminate information / prepare recommendations for appropriate action and next steps.
Initially, this position will be based in Washington DC. We offer 3 years fixed term contract (renewable), competitive salary (net of income taxes), excellent benefits, sponsorship for a G4 visa for staff and family, relocation grant (if applicable).
