The Material Coordinator reports to the site manager. Assist and participate at an open case level inventory process. Participate with the owner?s representative on inspection of incoming material for any/all damages, while generating proper paperwork for all Overages, Shortages and Damages. Inspect received materials and advise on proper long and short term storage requirements in accordance with specifications and industry standards, and also generate reports on this. Follow the EHS procedures.
? Identify and solve problems related to parts, based on the review and verification of the technical engineering specifications and drawings of the unit (turbine, generator, etc.).
? Report about the global status of installation materials (inventory, statistics, conservation status).
? Coordinate and / or monitor machining processes, repair or maintenance of turbine parts according Engineering recommendations and approval of the Site Manager installation.
? Manage the purchase of materials, parts and spare parts locally, according to the technical information indicated on the drawings.
? To manage and / or coordinate the importation of parts and materials for installation.
? Access systems manufacturer for review and download of plans, procedures, data and information related to the units and installation.
? Contact and coordinate with local and international suppliers for the supply of parts for installation.
? Previous Experience as Material Coordinator, logistics coordinator, sourcing for at least 2 years
? Intermediate level of English

Technical Degree+ in Mechanical Technician, Engineer or related fields with minimum 2 years of experience at a Construction/installation site, preferably in the power plant or Oil & Gas Industry.
