The purpose of this role is to drive sustainable growth across the Off-Trade channel by developing strong customer partnerships, leading commercial negotiations, and delivering profitable business plans aligned with Diageo's growth strategy. The role is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, maximizing distribution and portfolio performance, and ensuring the successful execution of customer business plans through effective collaboration with distributors and cross‑functional teams. This role exists to accelerate Diageo's commercial performance by influencing customer decisions, securing best‑in‑class commercial agreements, and translating strategic priorities into sustainable business growth across the Off-Trade channel.
Role Responsibilities
- Execute Diageo's commercial priorities across assigned Off-Trade customers, ensuring excellence in distribution, visibility, promotional execution, and in-store activation.
- Coordinate, engage, and provide day-to-day guidance to distributor sales teams, reinforcing Diageo's execution standards and commercial priorities across key accounts and liquor stores.
- Build strong working relationships with distributor sales representatives, store owners, and customer personnel to facilitate consistent execution and brand presence.
- Monitor execution of agreed commercial initiatives, ensuring promotional activities, POSM implementation, and visibility standards are delivered on time and in line with Diageo guidelines.
- Identify execution gaps and improvement opportunities at the point of sale, provide timely feedback and follow-up with distributor sales teams to drive corrective actions.
