Position Overview:

As part of the Site Technology Servicing team, we provide onsite IT technical support within our scope, which includes all users and onsite hardware within the locations described within the job description.

Location: Santiago, Chile (Onsite)
Position type: Independent Contract

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
As part of the Site Technology Servicing team, we provide onsite IT technical support within our scope, which includes all users and onsite hardware within the locations described within the job description.

The Band 2 – Network L2 Engineer will provide day-to-day L2 network support,



monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, switching, routing, VPN, and network connectivity issues while providing limited end-user support when required. Incidents, changes, and troubleshooting steps must be documented in the ticketing system.
The candidate will also need to facilitate customer resolution for calls and engage their supervisors and managers to ensure operational consistency across all shifts within the IT Support Centre.
Provide L2 network troubleshooting, break/fix support, fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and escalation for complex network incidents.
Support enterprise network infrastructure including switches, routers, wireless access points, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and connectivity services while coordinating with senior network engineers.
Troubleshooting VPN.
Application-support with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and SharePoint.
