Bank of China, Agencia en Chile, is looking for its next TFI Senior Associate to join the Treasury & Financial Institutions Department (TFI), reporting directly to the Head of TFI.

The role holder will be responsible for executing the Branch's treasury operations in the local market (FX, money market and fixed income) within approved mandates, applying the four-eyes principle as second line of control on all transactions. The role also acts as designated backup to the Head of TFI when required.

Key responsibilities:
- Execute trades in FX, money market and fixed income instruments in accordance with approved dealing mandates and risk limits.
- Manage the Branch's short- and long-term investment portfolios, monitoring daily interest rate and FX exposures.
- Develop the Financial Institutions business: credit line applications and renewals, commercial visits, marketing, classification and AML due diligence.
- Monitor the Branch's liquidity position and contribute to funding planning.
- Prepare position reports,



market analysis and regulatory submissions required by CMF and Head Office.
- Collaborate with Risk Management, Compliance, Finance & Accounting and Corporate Banking, providing treasury technical expertise.
- Maintain complete and audit-ready documentation of all transactions and positions.

The role operates with significant professional autonomy in execution, portfolio management and analysis, within the governance framework and limits established by the Head of TFI and the BoC Group.

Work modality: on-site at the corporate offices of Bank of China, Agencia en Chile, Santiago. Regular counterparties include local and international financial institutions, CMF, Central Bank of Chile, Bloomberg and rating agencies.

Education:

University degree in Commercial Engineering, Finance, Economics or a related field. CFA designation or progress toward CFA is desirable. Postgraduate studies in Finance or Capital Markets will be valued.
