About the Role
We’re looking for a Web Scraper to help power our AI‑driven procurement platform with real‑time, high‑quality data. You will build and maintain web scraping scripts that extract product, pricing, and vendor data. This hands‑on role is idóneo for someone comfortable working independently and passionate about Python.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain web scrapers to extract structured and unstructured data from websites, catalogs, and online marketplaces.
- Use BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or Playwright to handle dynamic content and site protections.
- Schedule and monitor scraping jobs, ensuring data quality, freshness, and resilience to website changes.
- Write robust,



well‑documented Python scripts that can be integrated into existing data pipelines.
- Handle error cases gracefully (rate limits, CAPTCHAs, site structure changes).
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to prioritize targets and scale data collection efforts.

Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience writing Python‑based web scrapers.
- Experience using BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, or Playwright.
- Ability to work with APIs, JSON, and various content formats.
- Experience navigating dynamic site structures and access restrictions.
- Good debugging skills and the ability to fix scrapers quickly when things break.
- Basic experience with version control (Git) and databases (SQL or NoSQL) is a plus.
- Highly independent, reliable, and detail‑oriented.
- Professional English proficiency.
