To match the needs for deployment, maintenance, support and training, we are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer based in Santiago, Chile. As experts on our autonomous vehicle solutions, our Field Service Engineers are either based at a client site or frequently travelling to other customer sites and help grow and scale our business with their skills and knowledge.
Mission
As part of the general Field Services team, you as a Field Service Engineer will be responsible for deploying and maintaining a fleet of vehicles in South America. You will be the first Engineer based in this location with additional employees joining the regional team as the company grows.
You are TractEasy’s face to our customers, keeping our autonomous vehicles in operations and our customer satisfaction at the highest levels. You will be leveraging your skills on-site,
via remote support as well as with training programs to help our customers achieve operational excellence with our autonomous vehicle solutions.
You therefore are a key part of TractEasy’s future success by driving the continuous improvement of our processes and best practices, based on the knowledge and experience you’ll gain.
Activities
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Coordinating and performing the deployment and entry into service of our autonomous vehicles, with the support of the dedicated Project Manager
- Managing the vehicle’s commissioning process, validating the vehicle setup, its deployment and the product support / improvement with your hands‑on feedback
- Performing mechanical and electrical maintenance interventions on the vehicles whenever necessary
- Hands‑on installation and configuration of autonomous hardware and software components as needed
- Delivering basic and advanced training sessions, assisting trained customers in the operation and depl
