Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Volunteer role based in the Santiago Metropolitan Area with Solvitec. The Volunteer will support daily operational activities, assist project teams with administrative and logistical tasks, and help coordinate events or community initiatives. Responsibilities may include organizing materials and resources, maintaining records, communicating with participants or partners, and providing general assistance to staff as needed. The role also involves collaborating with team members, following established procedures, and contributing ideas to improve processes and support Solvitec’s mission. Volunteers are expected to maintain a professional, inclusive, and safety-focused environment while representing the organization on-site.
Qualifications
Ability to perform basic administrative and organizational tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and record-keeping.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with team members, participants,



and community partners.
Capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow guidance from supervisors and project leads.
Reliability and time-management skills to meet full-time on-site commitments in the Santiago Metropolitan Area.
Adaptability and problem-solving abilities to handle changing priorities and support various projects.
Commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive practices and a respectful approach to diverse communities.
Basic computer literacy (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets); familiarity with project or event management tools is a plus.
Prior volunteer or community service experience is beneficial, though not required.
Ability to stand, move, or carry light materials as needed for events or on-site activities, with reasonable accommodations available.
