Fitch Ratings – Compliance Associate Director, Latin America – Santiago, Chile
The LATAM Compliance team at Fitch Ratings is responsible for managing interactions with regulators across Latin America, including supervisory inspections and examinations. The team ensures compliance with applicable credit rating agency regulations, fulfills regulatory reporting obligations, reviews Fitch Ratings’ policies and procedures to address regulatory requirements, and handles conduct-related internal investigations and complaints.
The Compliance Associate Director – Latin America will report to the Compliance Director based in Bogotá, Colombia.
The successful candidate will support efforts to enhance compliance processes across Latin America, aligning with general strategies and collaborating with various departments to ensure adherence to local regulations and internal policies.



This individual will serve as a key point of contact for compliance matters affecting operations in the region and will help coordinate interactions with regulators and global projects within Fitch Ratings’ Global Compliance team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with regulators and internal stakeholders across multiple functions and jurisdictions, providing broad exposure to compliance activities in a complex and highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities

Support regulatory compliance matters across Latin America, including fulfillment of regulatory reporting obligations, and collaborate with team members on regional and global compliance issues.
Help manage relationships with regulators, including coordinating responses to supervisory inspections, examinations, and ad hoc information requests.
Assist in ensuring regional operations comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Monitor regulatory developments and differences across jurisdictions, and report relevant findings to the regional Head of Compliance and senior management.
