We are looking for a Privacy and Confidentiality Senior Analyst who will physically work in Chile but will work for the Canadian Deloitte firm. We need someone with advanced English skills who will communicate and work with Canadian colleagues and clients, who is effective at identifying, assessing, and managing data risk.

The Privacy and Confidentiality Senior Analyst will work in Deloitte’s Data Risk and Trust (DRT) team. DRT is comprised of privacy, confidentiality, AI, data governance, and information and records management, supports Deloitte in its management and responsible use of data.

DRT does this by interpreting client contracts, privacy legislation, professional standards, industry requirements, and internal policies to understand the data management requirements that apply to Deloitte, and then to manage data throughout the data lifecycle, by engaging with all parts of the Deloitte business. Regular activities include, but are not limited to, managing a data incident response process, performing assessments on new technologies, negotiating contracts, implementing training and awareness campaigns, self-assessing for control effectiveness, and more.

The Privacy and Confidentiality Senior Analyst will:





- Investigate and address privacy and confidentiality breaches in accordance with Deloitte’s Data Incident Response Process
- Enhance Deloitte’s data loss prevention controls and data breach prevention efforts
- Manage record keeping, reviews, and approvals for exceptions to Deloitte’s data loss prevention controls
- Analyze data, identify trends, and report on key data risk issues to different levels of leadership
- Support ad hoc projects / programs as required by the DRT team

Experience required

- Advanced command of the English language
- Work experience in breach response, incident management, investigations, or other similar functions is an asset
- Work experience in privacy, data management, AI, law, or ethics is an asset
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, encryption, AI, and other technological concepts
- Strong attention to detail, precision, and analytical
- Strong verbal and written communicator
- High commitment to quality, ethics, and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal skills for multicultural teamwork, in person and remotely
- Creative problem solver and curious learner
- Ability to work under presume in dynamic and changing scenarios
