Turn technical expertise into customer impact as Sales Engineer

Your responsibilities
- You will act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, giving product demonstrations, technical presentations, and expert advice on Valmet Flow Control solutions.
- You will identify customer requirements through effective questioning and analysis, then translate them into clear technical proposals.
- You will collaborate with engineering, product development, and service teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and meet customer expectations.
- You will prepare and deliver competitive quotations, proposals, and tender responses, and negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers.
- You will build long-lasting customer relationships, manage sales forecasts and pipelines, follow market developments, attend industry events, and support customers after the sale.

Expectations for you
- You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or another related technical field.
- You communicate well,



present with confidence, build strong customer relationships, and have a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- You are proficient in CRM software, such as Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite; you can travel frequently to customer sites and company meetings;
- You are fluent in English, and Italian proficiency is a significant plus.
