NHS Lanarkshire – University Hospital Hairmyres

Applications are invited for the post of
Clinical Fellow in Interventional Cardiology.
The successful applicant will join our team of 5 consultant cardiologists at University Hospital Hairmyres, and will be part of the wider team of 10 consultant cardiologists contributing to the interventional cardiology rota in NHS Lanarkshire.

University Hospital Hairmyres has 2 well equipped cath labs, performing greater than 1400 PCI annually, with all of the adjunct equipment expected for complex PCI, including: OCT, IVUS, rotational atherectomy, orbital atherectomy, intravascular lithotripsy and Intra-aortic balloon pumps.

The Successful Candidate Will Be Expected To
- Work within the interventional cardiology team and contribute to the day to day running of the interventional cardiology service.
- Contribute to the running of the weekly cardiology MDT.
- Participate in interventional cardiology research.

This is a fixed term appointment for 1 year.
