Albemarle Corporation is seeking an West Bromine Operations Superintendent to support our Bromine facility in Magnolia, AR. This role is responsible for providing overall leadership of operating areas, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations while driving continuous improvement across production units.
What You Will Do
- Provide overall leadership of assigned operating areas, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable operations
- Drive a culture of safety awareness and environmental responsibility across the organization
- Oversee and support Area Supervisors and Operations Engineers, holding them accountable for both technical and day-to-day leadership




- Ensure compliance with all site and corporate safety, environmental, and quality policies
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance and efficiency
- Proactively address operational needs including staffing, CAPEX, maintenance, and cost management
- Monitor production performance to ensure achievement of safety, quality, and output targets
- Lead daily and weekly operational prioritization and planning
- Approve MOCs, work permits, incident reports, and operating procedures
- Develop and manage annual operating plans (AOPs) aligned with business objectives
- Partner with engineering and technical teams to identify and implement cost reduction and reliability improvements
- Conduct regular audits (permits, housekeeping, JSA, 5S, etc.) to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure full compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
