The Role
4 x 18 hours posts & 4 x 24 hour posts
To be observant in helping to reduce/ prevent crime on the UHM Site
To assist in providing a safe and secure environment for Patients, Staff, Visitors
To undertake regular patrol of the internal and external site of the UHM sites.
To provide help and advice to Patients, Visitors and Staff
To be an advocate for NHSL whilst undertaking their role.




The working pattern for this role is Dayshifts - 6hours per day over 7 days on rotation.
In This Key Role, You Will
- The Security Service operates a 7 days’ security and car parking service i.e. monitoring the car park, sticking cars not appropriately parked.
- The Security department will assist in maintaining the integrity of the building. This will include closing windows, ensuring doors are locked, reporting broken locks, window etc. via the helpdesk
- Complete daily routine tasks i.e. lock down of building, recording of incident logs
- The role will be responding to calls involving patients, staff, visitors. Member of the public in clinical and non-clinical locations.
