On behalf of ICT company Huawei Technologies, we are looking for: Commissioning Engineer – BESS to support the commissioning and deployment of Huawei Digital Power Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key Responsibilities
Perform commissioning, testing and start-up of BESS, PCS, EMS and related electrical equipment.
Verify installation, electrical connections, grounding, protection and communication systems.
Configure and test PCS, battery and EMS parameters.
Troubleshoot BESS, PCS, EMS, communication and alarm issues.
Support SCADA/EMS integration, grid connection and system acceptance.
Prepare commissioning reports and technical documentation.
Coordinate with EPCs, customers and internal technical teams.
Travel frequently to project sites in Chile.

Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Automation or related field.




2+ years of experience in BESS commissioning, electrical commissioning or field engineering.
Hands-on experience with BESS, PCS and EMS is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of electrical systems, single-line diagrams and protection systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Fluent English is mandatory, both written and spoken, for technical communication with international teams.
Willingness to work on-site and travel frequently.
Knowledge of Chilean electrical regulations and SEC requirements is a plus.
