Job Summary:
The Risk Analyst contributes to the implementation and enhancement of risk management methodologies, with the objective of continuously identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting the various risks to which the Company is exposed. The role also participates in the preparation of reports for the Board of Directors, senior management committees, and regulatory authorities, while supporting the development, maintenance, and documentation of policies, procedures, and processes related to the risk management function.
Job responsibilities:
- Support the identification, assessment, monitoring, and control of the various risks to which the Company is exposed, including strategic, financial, technical, and operational risks, as well as the development and maintenance of models and methodologies for their analysis.
- Prepare and analyze risk management reports and key risk indicators for Senior Management, Committees, and the Board of Directors, ensuring the quality, integrity, and timeliness of the information presented.
- Prepare information and provide support in responding to requests from regulatory authorities,
internal auditors, and external auditors.
- Participate in the development, maintenance, and documentation of policies, procedures, methodologies, and processes related to the risk management function.
- Support the development, maintenance, and validation of models used for risk analysis and solvency capital calculations, ensuring the quality, integrity, and consistency of the inputs utilized.
- Leverage analytical and Artificial Intelligence tools to support process automation and optimization, data analysis, and the preparation of management reports.
- Support and participate in projects, initiatives, and strategic activities as assigned by their manager.
Preparation, Training and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Accounting and Auditing, Business Management, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management within the insurance industry is preferred, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation, as well as participation in internal control and regulatory compliance activities.
Technical Knowledge:
- Risk Management (intermediate level).
- Internal control and risk management frameworks.
- Knowledge of regulations and requirements applicable to the insurance industry (preferred).
- English (intermediate level).
- Microsoft Office (intermediate level).
- Python programming (preferred).
- Proficiency in Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools applied to process automation, data analysis, and reporting.
