An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join NHS Fife as a Band 6 Critical Care Clinical Educator Lead. Based within Critical Care Unit at Victoria Hospital, the post holder will support the development, delivery and evaluation of education and practice development programmes across ICU, SHDU and MHDU, ensuring training is responsive to service needs, governance requirements and patient safety standards.
Working closely with Senior Charge Nurses, the multidisciplinary team and practice development, you will coordinate student placements, support staff induction, mentorship, competency development and ongoing professional learning. You will play a key role in promoting evidence-based practice, supporting quality improvement initiatives and developing a culture of continuous learning across Critical Care services.
Applicants should be First Level Registered Nurses educated to degree level, with substantial Critical Care experience and a passion for education and workforce development.



You should have excellent communication and leadership skills, experience delivering education and training, and a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one). This is an exciting opportunity to influence the future development of Critical Care nursing and support excellence in patient care across NHS Fife.
