You will produce drawings, facilitate discussions, communicate complex technical issues, and prepare civil/structural design estimates and work plan.
Your recommendations will ensure designs and work plans are in accordance with project scope, schedule, budget, regulations, and standards.




"This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership."Major Responsibilities:Planning, developing, coordinating and reviewing design work within a small-size civil/structuraldesign work group on projects of medium size or assignments in support of globalbusiness unitProducing drawings and documentation in accordance with established design and scopeincluding design of earthwork, drainage, road design, foundation, and steel detailingCoordinating and interfacing as directed with the day-to-day technical work of civil/structuralengineers, scientists, specialists, designers and draftersCommunicating complex technical issues and recommends solutions to uppermanagementPreparing or overseeing the preparation of civil/structural design estimates and work plan inaccordance with project scope, schedule and budget, and manages implementation andperformance accordinglyDeveloping Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), Bechtel design guides,appropriate Bechtel Standard Computer Applications (BSAPs) and administrativepracticesCoordinating with client representatives as delegated to obtain approval on phases of workReviewing key civil/structural engineering drawings and calculations and bidummariesMentoring civil/structural designers and drafters by providing appropriate on-the-job trainingfor their professional developmentEnsuring civil/structural systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations,
