SOFTWARE ASSET MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (HUB)About the RoleJoin a global IT transformation at WSP.We are looking for a Software Asset Management Specialist to join our SAM Hub team, supporting a large and complex international environment across multiple regions.In this role, you will have a direct impact on how software assets are managed globally, working closely with IT, vendors, and cross-functional teams to drive optimization, compliance, and efficiency across the organization.Why this role?
Regional and global exposure across Latin America and international teamsOpportunity to contribute to a large-scale IT transformation programHigh visibility and collaboration with IT, Procurement, Engineering, and external vendorsDirect impact on cost optimization and software governancePosition SummaryThe Software Asset Management Specialist is an individual contributor role responsible for managing high volumes of software licensing requests and supporting the effective management of software assets across their lifecycle.You will collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure requests are processed accurately, service levels are met, and software usage is optimized across the organization.Location: Flexible LAC / remote / hybridKey ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end software licensing requests, ensuring timely processing and deliveryMaintain accurate records of software assets throughout their lifecycle (procurement to deinstallation)Respond to stakeholder queries and escalations related to licensingCollaborate with vendors and internal teams (IT, On-Site Support,



SCCM/Intune)Support software installation and delivery processesDrive license optimization initiatives and improve software usage efficiencySupport audit and compliance activities, including reporting requirementsMaintain software renewals calendar and provide input to financial planning processesIdentify operational gaps through metrics and support continuous improvement aligned with ITSM practicesSupport transition activities and knowledge sharing across teamsSkills and QualificationsRequiredExperience working in ITIL-aligned environments (certification is a plus)Experience in Software Asset Management or similar operational IT rolesKnowledge of ServiceNowStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet defined service levelsProcess-oriented mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to build strong working relationships across teamsComfortable working in dynamic and evolving environmentsAdvanced proficiency in both English and SpanishExperience working with multicultural and geographically distributed teamsPreferredBachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related fieldAbout UsWSP is a general leader in engineering and professional services.
