Process Engineer, Principal (hydrometallurgical plants).
As a
Principal Process Engineer
, you will play a key role in the development and leadership of process engineering for concentrator plant projects, actively contributing across different stages of the project lifecycle.

About The Rol
- Lead the development of process engineering solutions, from conceptual stages through detailed design, ensuring technical quality and alignment with project objectives.
- Define design criteria, select processing technologies,



and develop process configurations focused on operational efficiency and sustainability.
- Oversee and validate key discipline deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate process engineering into the overall project development.
- Contribute to technical and economic evaluations, supporting decision-making by considering performance, risks, and optimization opportunities.
- Lead and mentor the process team, fostering technical development and excellence in execution.

About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the mining industry, ideally in copper.
- Proven experience in hydrometallurgical projects, including plant design and participation in engineering stages (conceptual, basic, and/or detailed engineering).
