Role Description:
The Desktop Support Engineer is a contract, on-site role based in Santiago Metropolitan Area, Chile. This role is responsible for providing end-to-end technical support and IT asset lifecycle management, ensuring enterprise devices are securely configured, deployed, maintained, and managed in accordance with organizational standards. To support end users by delivering high-quality desktop support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, coordinating device logistics, managing IT assets,



and maintaining accurate documentation to ensure seamless IT operations and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop and technical support for laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices.
- Build, image, configure, and deploy Windows 11 devices, including Microsoft Autopilot hardware hash generation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues.
- Perform secure data erasure using approved tools such as Blancco to ensure compliance with data security standards.
- Manage the complete lifecycle of IT assets, including deployment, collection, redeployment, inventory tracking, and retirement.
- Coordinate device logistics, shipping, warehouse operations, and inventory reconciliation.
- Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, and authorized Field Replaceable Unit (FRU) replacements.
- Conduct asset audits, tagging, condition assessments, and maintain accurate asset records.
