Job Description
Albemarle is hiring for a Treasury Analyst in Charlotte, NC. This position will be hybrid. The Treasury department at Albemarle helps maximize shareholder value by delivering the financing, liquidity, and risk management solutions that support the Company’s global operations. The Treasury Analyst is responsible for a broad range of Treasury activities, including liquidity management, treasury operations, foreign exchange risk management, with opportunities to be involved in Capital Markets and Insurance. The role will interact with a variety of functional areas, including Controlling, Tax, Legal, Audit, Business finance and our banking partners.



The position offers significant exposure to our general business and visibility to senior management.

Responsibilities
- Support the execution and monitoring of foreign exchange risk management strategies, including cash flow, balance sheet, and net investment hedging
- Manage liquidity, cash forecasting, funding activities, investments, borrowing needs, and working capital optimization
- Support treasury operations, including payments, bank account management, treasury reporting, and banking activities
- Prepare Treasury inputs and reports to support month-end close and external reporting requirements, including covenant compliance and select disclosures supporting SEC filings
- Administer the Company’s Commercial Paper program, including issuance, settlement, and reporting activities
- Provide analytical support through ad-hoc financial mod
