Key Responsibilities:
- Assist therapist in delivering their exercise treatment plan (individual/group).
- Provide assistance to therapist by preparing, instructing and assisting clients during rehabilitation and therapy sessions as they carry out their exercises or functional activities.
- Observe clients during therapy regimes to collect information on their status and progress, and provide results to therapist.
- Prepare client and set up equipment in a safe environment for therapy.
- Assist therapist in administrative and clinical duties.
- Assist therapist in maintenance/inventory of therapeutic equipment, devices, and housekeeping duties.

Key Requirements:

· Possess a minimum of GCE “N” level or equivalent, Higher NITEC, NITEC, or WSQ Cert in Healthcare Support (Therapy Support) or equivalent + 4 years’ experience and demonstrated competency

· Certificate in Therapy Assistant (HMI Institute – HMI Institute of Health Sciences)

or Nitec in Community Care and Social Service or experience in related job will be an advantage

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Proficient in a second language or dialect would be an added advantage
