*Technologies is currently looking for an Operations Manager to join our team in Santiago, Chile.*
Team
Joining the Operations team responsible for managing a portfolio of renewable energy assets in Chile during the commercial operational phase. This position will directly report to the Project Director and will be based in Santiago with travel as required.

Role
The Operations Manager will oversee operational activities across a portfolio of renewable energy projects in Chile, starting with Arena BESS, a 220 MW stand-alone battery system with a 5-hour duration, located in the municipality of Taltal, in the Antofagasta Region. Mid next year, the portfolio will expand with the addition of Patache BESS, a 300 MW battery energy storage project located in Iquique. Managing internal coordination and external service providers to deliver effective HSE, ESG and technical outcomes throughout the operational lifecycle of the assets.

Responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:




- Managing overall project performance and ensuring optimal asset performance
- Making operational decisions within the agreed Delegation of Authority
- Ensuring a robust and efficient operational delivery model is in place
- Managing contractual relationships with service providers, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, KPIs and service levels.
- Supporting clear communication with project owners, boards and internal stakeholders
- Acting as the local operational interface with landowners, authorities and communities
- Ensuring timely, accurate and fit-for-purpose project reporting
- Representing owners in operational matters and facilitating communication across all parties
- Conducting performance assessments and implementing optimisation initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with project agreements, permits, legal requirements, owner requirements, HSE, ESG and cybersecurity standards
