On behalf of ICT company Huawei Technologies, we are looking for:
Commissioning Engineer – BESS
to support the commissioning and deployment of Huawei Digital Power
Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform
commissioning, testing and start-up
of BESS, PCS, EMS and related electrical equipment.
- Verify installation, electrical connections, grounding, protection and communication systems.
- Configure and test
PCS, battery and EMS parameters
.
- Troubleshoot BESS, PCS, EMS, communication and alarm issues.
- Support SCADA/EMS integration, grid connection and system acceptance.
- Prepare commissioning reports and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with
EPCs, customers and internal technical teams
.
- Travel frequently to project sites in Chile.

Requirements
- Degree in
Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy,



Automation or related field
.
- 2+ years of experience in BESS commissioning, electrical commissioning or field engineering
.
- Hands-on experience with
BESS, PCS and EMS
is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, single-line diagrams and protection systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English is mandatory
, both written and spoken, for technical communication with international teams.
- Willingness to work on-site and travel frequently.
- Knowledge of Chilean electrical regulations and SEC requirements is a plus.
