Sr. Solutions Consultant II

At Variacode, we are looking for a Sr. Solutions Consultant II to serve as our lead technical authority, thought leader, and trusted advisor. In this high-impact role, you will drive product strategy, lead C-level deal execution, and set technical standards that elevate our entire Operations Cloud ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Leadership & Sales Strategy

- C-Suite Engagement: Sell Variacode’s end-to-end platform directly to C-level executives (CIO, CTO, CEO).

- Art of the Possible: Deliver bespoke, high-impact technical demonstrations tailored to strategic enterprise needs.

- Sales Alignment: Partner with Regional Sales Directors (RSDs) and Account Executives (AEs) to refine messaging, optimize processes, and rollout new sales playbooks.

- Thought Leadership: Represent Variacode at industry events and serve as a trusted technical advisor across Product, Enablement, CSG, and Sales teams.

- Long-Term Strategy: Drive multi-year account planning and revenue growth strategies.

️ Advanced Architecture & Innovation

- Scalable Prototyping: Design and build next-gen demo environments and scalable solutions that improve team-wide efficiency.

- Automation & Integrations: Research emerging automation tools, propose seamless integrations, and establish enterprise technology standards.

- Product Roadmap Influence: Work cross-functionally to shape the vision and capabilities of the Operations Cloud.

- Proactive Initiative:



Conceive and champion innovative technical projects autonomously.

️ Strategic Account & Risk Management

- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify technical gaps, deal hurdles, and potential risks, establishing mitigation plans before they impact outcomes.

- MEDDICC Mastery: Articulate and champion MEDDICC frameworks for active opportunities to influence sales velocity.

- Customer Advocacy: Turn key clients into reference accounts by co-defining measurable business metrics and impactful use cases.

Key Competencies & Requirements

Technical Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of technical experience in Presales or Post-sales engineering roles.

- Scripting: Advanced proficiency in Bash, Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell.

- Automation & Orchestration: Deep expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform.

- OS Platforms: Advanced knowledge of Linux and/or Windows environments.

- Proven Track Record: Ability to cite 10+ customer success stories complete with business metrics, anecdotes, and executive outcomes across our Operations Cloud offerings.

Soft Skills & Leadership

- Executive Objection Handling: Exceptional ability to navigate functional, competitive, and security objections at the C-suite level.

- Mentorship: Passion for mentoring junior SCs, AEs, and sales leaders, while cultivating executive-level mentorship networks.

- Market Insight: Continuous monitoring of IT, SRE, and cloud ecosystem trends to keep Variacode ahead of the competition.

Qualifications

- P5 track level equivalent in Solutions Consulting / Solutions Architecture.

- 8+ years in a technical client-facing role (Presales/Post-sales).

- Proven track record of selling to C-suite executives and driving team efficiency initiatives.
