To manage and optimize the supply chain for the pharmaceutical company, ensuring the availability of high-quality products in the market while complying with local and international regulations and maximizing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Planning and Strategy:
Develop and execute the supply chain strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
Analyze market trends and forecast inventory needs to ensure product availability.
Supplier Management:
Select and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
Logistics and Distribution:
Oversee logistics operations, including transportation and storage of pharmaceutical products.
Implement process improvements in distribution to reduce costs and delivery times.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all supply chain processes comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations and local laws.
Coordinate internal and external audits to guarantee regulatory adherence.
Inventory Management:
Optimize inventory levels to minimize obsolescence risk and ensure continuous product flow.
Implement inventory management systems and data analysis for informed decision-making.
Interdepartmental Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, marketing, and production departments to align the supply chain with business needs.
Participate in new product development, ensuring logistics and supply considerations are integrated from the start.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for improvement in the supply chain through performance analysis and KPIs.
Implement Lean Management and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields. An MBA or specialization in Supply Chain is a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of supply chain management experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with GMP regulations and pharmaceutical industry standards.
Proficiency in inventory management tools and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Skills:
