Job Description
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented
Accountant
to join a leading company in the
pharmaceutical industry in Chile
. The idóneo candidate will have at least
3 years of proven experience
in accounting or finance roles within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or regulated sectors.
This position will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with local and international accounting standards, and supporting internal audits and budgeting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with Chilean tax regulations and corporate accounting policies (IFRS and/or US GAAP if applicable).
Support inventory accounting processes and cost analysis related to pharmaceutical products.
Collaborate with internal teams (supply chain, sales, medical) for cross-functional budgeting and financial insights.
Prepare reports for internal audits, external audits,
and regulatory inspections.
Monitor expenses, verify purchase orders, and ensure correct invoice processing.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local tax law and financial regulations.
Support local and regional finance teams with forecasting and cash flow management.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience
in accounting roles, preferably within the
pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
. (Not Mandatory)
Strong knowledge of Chilean tax legislation and accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP is a plus).
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is desirable.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Intermediate to advanced English level (written and spoken).
