As a Mainframe Engineer, you will maintain and modernize critical COBOL applications on IBM mainframe systems. You will serve as a vital link between legacy infrastructure and modern business requirements, ensuring the reliability and evolution of core processing environments in key sectors like banking and insurance.

What You'll Do

- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality COBOL code for mission-critical batch and online processing.
- Manage and optimize mainframe data structures using VSAM and DB2 to ensure high performance and integrity.
- Design and execute JCL streams to automate complex workload scheduling and resource allocation.
- Modernize legacy systems by refactoring code and integrating mainframe services with contemporary platforms.




- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within CICS and other core mainframe subsystems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.

What We Are Looking For

- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on mainframe systems.
- Proven expertise in maintaining and modernizing COBOL applications on IBM mainframes.
- Proficiency in core mainframe technologies including CICS, DB2, JCL, and VSAM.
- Hands-on experience with both batch and online mainframe processing environments.
- Deep understanding of mainframe application integration within banking, insurance, or government sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
