We are looking for a Senior Data Architect part time in Latam to join a long-term project with a US-based company in the Retail & E-commerce industry.

You will work closely with a small, distributed technical team and business stakeholders, providing architectural guidance and helping evolve a mature Snowflake-based Data Platform.

Responsibilities
Provide architectural guidance and strategic input on the evolution of the Data Platform.
Conduct architecture, design and code reviews.
Support the optimization and evolution of an existing Snowflake environment.
Contribute to new integrations, Data Warehouse enhancements and platform improvements.
Provide guidance on performance, scalability and cost optimization.
Collaborate closely with the onshore Data Team on a daily basis.

Requirements
Senior-level experience in Data Architecture and Data Warehousing.
Strong experience with Snowflake in production environments.
Experience with dbt,



data modeling, CI/CD, data migrations, performance and cost optimization.
Strong understanding of modern Data Platform architecture.
Experience designing and evolving mature data environments.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work proactively within a small, distributed team.
Experience in Retail or E-commerce is a plus.
Knowledge of Snowflake Cortex / AI is a plus.
