The position:
The Elementary School Permanent Substitute Teacher provides consistent instructional and operational support across the Elementary School by ensuring continuity of learning whenever teachers or learning facilitators are absent.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid teaching credential or equivalent qualification.




- Experience working with elementary-aged students (grades 1 - 5).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong classroom management skills.

Skills, Attitudes, and Dispositions:
- Demonstrated ability to quickly build positive relationships with students.
- Ability to independently facilitate instruction using teacher-provided lesson plans.
- Professionalism, reliability, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt confidently and remain calm and versátil to changing schedules and unexpected situations.
- Familiarity with inquiry-based, concept-based, and student-centered instructional approaches is preferred.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for classrooms when teachers are absent across Lower Elementary, Upper Elementary and specialist programs.
- Provide substitute coverage across the Elementary School by assuming either lead teacher or assistant teacher responsibilities,
