We are looking for a
Construction Engineer
to join our team in Ireland and support the delivery of
residential and commercial building projects
. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys combining
technical site engineering with practical commercial and quantity surveying tasks
. You will work closely with site managers, design teams, QS/commercial teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered
safely, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards
.

What You’ll Do

Quantity Surveying & Commercial Support
- Assist the QS team in monitoring project costs, labour allocation, and material usage.
- Take site measurements and verify subcontractor claims or variations.
- Support preparation of
weekly/monthly cost reports and progress valuations
.




- Review drawings and specifications to spot potential cost risks or
value-engineering opportunities
.
- Help with procurement tasks such as
material take-offs and subcontractor comparisons
.
- Maintain accurate records for
change control and commercial audits
.

Site Engineering & Project Delivery
- Set out, level, and survey construction works according to design drawings.
- Support the Site Manager and Project Manager with
daily site coordination
.
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and contribute to technical solutions.
- Ensure compliance with
Irish Building Regulations, design standards, and company procedures
.

Quality Control & Documentation
- Keep accurate
as-built records, test reports, checklists, and daily logs
.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with
project quality plans and ITPs
.
- Prepare
method statements, technical queries, and support BCAR documentation
.

Health & Safety
- Promote a cult
