NHS Lanarkshire is comprised of Acute Services (which currently provide hospital based services over 3 main sites), Corporate & Property & Support Services, North and South Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnerships which provide integrated primary healthcare and social care services to local communities and surrounding areas.The Role As part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will carry out care duties for patients, in support of a registered nurse, and will regularly work unsupervised.
The post holder will carry out assigned duties to maintain hygiene, order and safety within the ward environment.Duties may vary with the type of ward/department and the degree of patient dependency.In This Key Role, You WillCarry out assigned tasks to deliver and support direct patient care, under the direction of a registered nurse, to ensure delivery of a high quality of patient careCommitment to ongoing personal development, as identified personally or due to the needs of the servicesWork within NHS Lanarkshire policies andMay act as a second signatory in the reconciliation of patient's funds held at ward levelRegularly handles patient belongings and valuables.What You'll BringSVQ III in healthcare, or working towards,
