We are looking for a candidate with knowledge and experience in cargo insurance, desirable knowledge of insurance coverage for refrigerated cargo and perishable food products.

To promote our insurance products, as well as develop strong relationships with distribution channels (brokers) and final clients (perishable exporters).

This role is located at our office in Santiago de Chile

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a candidate with knowledge and experience in cargo insurance, desirable knowledge of insurance coverage for refrigerated cargo and perishable food products.

To promote our insurance products, as well as develop strong relationships with distribution channels (brokers) and final clients (perishable exporters).

This role is located at our office in Santiago de Chile

- Detect insurance brokers and stakeholders to develop a solid customer base in the perishable insurance market.
- Identify perishable exporter’s needs and recommend suitable insurance coverage to meet those needs.
- Target potential clients.
- Lead commercial meetings and deliver effective presentations -explaining coverages and benefits- to potential clients.




- Negotiate insurance offering the tailor made proposal prepared by Risk.
- Work together with the underwriting and operation areas of BARBUSS RISK to quote and bring business.
- Generate and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and ongoing advice on their insurance policies.

Requirements:

- Experience and knowledge in cargo insurance, desirable knowledge of insurance coverage for refrigerated cargo and perishable food products. and sales practices.
- University degree.
- Fluent English.

This position requires people who are results oriented, dynamic, proactive, with experience in collaborative organizational culture and versátil to adapt to evolving scenarios.
