We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Routing & Logistics Specialist / Dispatcher to manage daily transportation and dispatch operations. This role focuses on real-time logistics execution, load coordination, route tracking, and operational problem-solving.
The position starts part-time during training and transitions to full-time based on performance. Schedule flexibility is required, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor shipments, routes, and delivery schedules in real time
Assign loads and communicate with drivers to ensure efficient operations
Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or disruptions
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, issues, and operational updates
Collaborate with operations, planning, and customer support teams
Optimize routes and resource allocation to improve efficiency
Ensure compliance with company procedures and logistics best practices
Requirements
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Basic computer proficiency, including Excel and tracking systems
Availability for adaptable shifts, including nights and weekends
Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or transportation is a plus but not required
Compensation & Schedule
Training: Part-time, $800/month
After Training: Full-time, $1,700–$1,800/month
Schedule: Shift-based with flexibility required
