The General SAP BASIS Team has members in Switzerland, Australia, and Canada. The Team is responsible for supporting and maintaining our global SAP landscape which is hosted in Switzerland with more than 10,000 users globally across our Industrial operations and Marketing offices.
The main tasks and responsibilities include
Installing and administering SAP modules, including SAP S/4, HANA, BW, Fiori, Integration Suite (CPI), GRC, Solution Manager, and Java components.
Management of SAP technical releases and implementation of support packages .
Understanding and applying technical SAP system landscape strategies, including hyperscaler-hosted landscapes (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid on-premise/cloud architectures.
Optimizing performance and monitoring SAP systems, leveraging SAP Focused Run and Cloud ALM in addition to Solution Manager.
Monitoring and maintaining servers, operating systems, databases and middleware required for SAP.
Understanding and applying technical SAP system landscape strategies.




Troubleshooting and resolving SAP HANA DB performance issues, including applying patches.
Optimizing performance and monitoring SAP systems.
Leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) knowledge for integrations and enhancements, including SAP BTP ABAP Environment, Cloud Foundry, and Kyma.
Integrating SAP SuccessFactors with other SAP modules and systems.
Administering SAP Datasphere and its connectivity into BW/4HANA and S/4HANA landscapes.
Implementing automation concepts to enhance operational efficiency.
