ESO is seeking an Optics Engineer for the La Silla Paranal Observatory, Chile, in the Maintenance, Support, and Engineering Department.
The role involves leading optical alignment, maintaining telescope optics, and ensuring system availability, with responsibility for reports and documentation.
You will participate in cross-discipline analyses, AIV of new systems, and act as MCO for selected subsystems, coordinating with Support and QA groups to optimize maintenance and spare parts planning.
