Job Summary

SP360 SpA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Técnico/a de Seguridad Informática Nivel 1 to support the company's cybersecurity and IT security operations. The successful candidate will monitor security systems, respond to basic security alerts, assist with incident investigation, and help maintain secure and reliable IT environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional looking to develop hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network protection, endpoint security, and security operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor security alerts, systems, networks, and endpoints for suspicious activity.
- Review and analyze basic security events and logs.
- Respond to first-level cybersecurity incidents according to established procedures.
- Escalate complex or high-risk security incidents to senior security personnel.
- Assist with identifying malware, phishing attempts, unauthorized access, and other security threats.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of security-related hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Support the administration of antivirus, endpoint protection, firewall, and access-control systems.
- Assist with vulnerability scanning and remediation activities.
- Monitor user accounts, permissions, and authentication activities.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents, alerts, and technical actions.
- Assist with security updates, patches, and configuration changes.
- Follow information security policies, procedures, and operational controls.
- Support security awareness activities and provide basic guidance to users.
- Prepare routine security reports and operational summaries.
- Collaborate with IT support, network, systems, and cybersecurity teams.
- Stay informed about common cybersecurity threats and defensive practices.





Requirements
- Technical degree or certification in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Networks, Systems Administration, or a related field.
- Previous IT support, network support, or cybersecurity experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and common security threats.
- Knowledge of computer networks, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and basic network security.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection, and access controls.
- Ability to analyze basic logs and security alerts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow security procedures and escalate incidents appropriately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or IT help desk.
- Familiarity with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Defender, CrowdStrike, Sophos, or similar endpoint security solutions.
- Basic understanding of vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST or MITRE ATT&CK.;
- Basic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- CompTIA Security+, Network+, or similar certification is an advantage.
