Job Summary

Daya Motora SpA is seeking an experienced and organized Supervisor/a de Logística Automotriz to oversee daily logistics operations related to vehicles, automotive parts, inventory, transportation, and distribution. The successful candidate will coordinate logistics activities, supervise personnel, monitor deliveries, and ensure efficient movement and handling of automotive products.

The adecuado candidate will have strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in automotive logistics, warehousing, transportation, or supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily automotive logistics and warehouse operations.
- Coordinate the receiving, storage, movement, and dispatch of vehicles, parts, and automotive supplies.
- Plan and monitor transportation and delivery schedules.
- Supervise logistics personnel, assign daily tasks, and monitor performance.
- Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Coordinate with suppliers, dealerships, transport providers, and internal departments.
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Track vehicle and parts movements throughout the logistics process.
- Identify delays, discrepancies, or operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of automotive products.
- Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, inventory, and transportation records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable transportation requirements.
- Prepare operational reports and provide updates to management.




- Support continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and supply chain operations.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Automotive Management, or a related field.
- Previous supervisory experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, distribution, transportation, and warehouse operations.
- Proven ability to supervise and motivate logistics teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics or inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and service quality.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in automotive dealerships, vehicle distribution, or automotive parts logistics.
- Knowledge of Chilean transportation and logistics practices.
- Experience using ERP, WMS, or fleet management systems.
- Knowledge of supply chain optimization and logistics KPIs.
- Experience managing third-party transportation providers.
- Valid driver's license is an advantage.
