Job Overview

Pacifica Trade & Retail SpA is seeking a motivated, results-driven, and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales activities and help expand our customer base across Chile. The successful candidate will develop sales strategies, manage customer relationships, monitor sales performance, and lead the sales team toward achieving revenue and growth objectives.

The idóneo candidate has strong leadership and communication skills, a proven ability to meet sales targets, and experience in retail, wholesale, consumer goods, distribution, or a related industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Establish sales targets, performance indicators, and action plans.
- Monitor sales performance and prepare regular sales reports for management.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with prospective customers.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, retailers, wholesalers, and business partners.
- Oversee sales pipelines, forecasts, and customer accounts.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, operations, and distribution teams.
- Participate in negotiations with key customers and business partners.
- Ensure appropriate follow-up on customer inquiries, proposals, orders, and contracts.
- Develop strategies to improve customer retention and sales conversion.
- Address customer concerns and support the resolution of sales-related issues.
- Monitor pricing, promotions, and sales initiatives to maximize profitability.




- Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a similar role.
- Previous experience managing or supervising a sales team is preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of sales strategies, customer relationship management, and business development.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM or sales-management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data, forecasts, and market trends.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound business decisions.
- Willingness to travel when required for customer meetings or business development activities.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in consumer goods, retail, wholesale, merchandising, or distribution.
- Established knowledge of the Chilean retail or wholesale market.
- Experience managing key accounts and major business clients.
- Strong understanding of sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Experience developing pricing and promotional strategies.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales analytics.
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic-thinking skills.

Compensation

CLP 7,800–12,500 per hour, depending on qualifications, experience, and relevant expertise.
