Mining Technology Specialist

Monthly Salary: CLP $2,000,000 - $3,000,000 gross per month, depending on experience and qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a Mining Technology Specialist to support the implementation, operation, and optimization of technology solutions across mining operations in Chile.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically minded professional who understands mining environments and can bridge the gap between technology, field operations, data, and production.

Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot mining technology systems and equipment.
- Provide technical support to mining operations and field teams.
- Monitor system performance, connectivity, sensors, automation, and digital solutions.
- Analyze operational and technology data to identify opportunities for improved productivity, safety, and equipment performance.
- Support the integration of new technologies into mining workflows.
- Conduct on-site testing, commissioning, diagnostics, and system upgrades.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, and customer teams.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations.
- Ensure technology solutions comply with operational, safety, and quality standards.
- Travel to mining sites as required.

Requirements
- Technical or university degree in Mining Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Telecommunications,



Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with mining technology, industrial technology, automation, telecommunications, monitoring systems, or related solutions.
- Experience working in mining operations or industrial environments is highly desirable.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working with technical systems, sensors, software, and operational data.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Willingness to travel to mining sites and work in field environments.
- Valid driver's license is an advantage.
- English proficiency is an advantage.
