IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Salary: CLP $1,200,000 - $1,800,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused IT Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support to employees, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain IT systems, and ensure users have reliable access to the technology they need.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, chat, and in person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, update, and maintain computers, laptops, peripherals, and software.
- Support Windows, Microsoft 365, email, VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Create, manage, and update user accounts and access permissions.
- Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment setup and account access.
- Monitor and maintain IT equipment and inventory.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and support requests in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT or infrastructure teams when required.
- Assist with backups, security updates, system maintenance, and IT projects.




- Provide clear and professional technical assistance to non-technical users.

Requirements
- Diploma, degree, or technical qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, and VPN troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting computer hardware, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple support requests and work independently.
- English proficiency is an advantage.
