Contract Specialist – Rajtattva Engineering Chile

Rajtattva Engineering Chile is an engineering consultancy delivering structural design, geotechnical analysis, and project‑management services for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects throughout the country. We are committed to sustainable construction practices and are seeking a meticulous Contract Specialist to manage the contractual aspects of our engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, sub‑contracts, and service agreements with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
- Ensure all contractual documents comply with Chilean civil‑construction law, procurement regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, flag potential liabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor contract performance, track milestones, and coordinate change‑order processes.
- Maintain an organized contract repository, manage document control, and ensure timely renewals and extensions.
- Liaise with the legal department, project managers,



and finance to resolve disputes and facilitate smooth project execution.
- Provide guidance and training to internal teams on contract best practices and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience handling contracts in the construction or engineering sector, preferably with knowledge of Chilean regulatory frameworks.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish (English proficiency is a plus).
- Proficiency with contract‑management software or ERP systems and standard office tools (Word, Excel, PDF).
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.

Compensation

- Competitive hourly rate: CLP 9,500 – CLP 12,700 (based on experience and expertise).
