Pharmaceutical Technician

Location: Santiago, Chile
Employment Type: Full-Time
Monthly Salary:$600,000 -$850,000 CLP gross, depending on experience, qualifications, and shift schedule.

We are looking for a Pharmaceutical Technician / Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team and support the safe and efficient dispensing, storage, and management of medications and pharmaceutical supplies.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review, prepare, and dispense prescriptions according to established procedures.
- Prepare and label medications accurately under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate medication and inventory records.
- Receive, store, organize, and monitor pharmaceutical products.
- Check expiration dates, stock levels, and storage conditions, including cold-chain requirements.
- Assist patients and provide appropriate information within the scope of the technician's role.
- Process pharmacy orders and maintain accurate documentation.
- Identify and report medication shortages, discrepancies, damaged products, or other issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized,



and compliant pharmacy environment.
- Follow all applicable healthcare, pharmacy, safety, and quality-control procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacists, technicians, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.

Requirements:
- Diploma or recognized qualification in Pharmacy Technology / Pharmaceutical Technician.
- Appropriate professional authorization or certification required to work in Chile.
- Previous pharmacy experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication handling, inventory control, and dispensing procedures.
- Good computer and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain confidentiality.
