Bosch Chile
, we are looking for a
Regional Business Controller LATAM – Industrial Boilers
to support the sustainable and profitable growth of our Industrial Boilers business across Latin America.
Based in Chile and reporting directly to the
Regional Director
, this position will act as a strategic business partner to regional management and local country organizations, ensuring
financial transparency, profitability, operational excellence and compliance with Bosch standards and processes
.
You will be responsible for financial and business controlling activities across
Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Peru and Colombia
, working closely with local, regional and global stakeholders.
This is an individual contributor position with
no direct people management responsibility
, but with significant regional exposure and influence across Finance, Sales, Service, Project Management, Operations and Supply Chain.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Business & Financial Controlling
Lead and coordinate the annual
Business Plan, Budget, Forecast and monthly performance review
processes across the region.
Monitor and analyze sales, gross margin, EBIT, cash flow, working capital and overall business performance.
Identify financial risks, opportunities and improvement actions to support profitable growth.
Prepare executive management reports and business performance presentations.
Develop financial models, scenario analyses and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
Drive profitability improvement initiatives across countries and business segments.
Prepare and present financial and business results to regional and general stakeholders, including
presentations to teams and senior stakeholders in Germany
.
Project Controlling
Monitor the profitability and financial performance of
equipment supply, modernization, retrofit and turnkey projects
.
Review project calculations, commercial assumptions and margin targets.
Monitor cost deviations, contingencies, accruals and financial risks throughout project execution.
Support project reviews and risk assessments.
Ensure compliance with Bosch project management and governance standards.
Service & Aftermarket Controlling
Analyze the profitability of
service contracts, spare parts, retrofit and modernization activities
.
Monitor business performance by country, customer and product segment.
Identify opportunities to improve profitability and service market penetration.
Support warranty cost analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.




Supply Chain & Cost Controlling
Monitor and analyze regional supply chain costs, including
procurement, international freight, customs duties, warehousing and local distribution
.
Evaluate the financial impact of logistics costs, exchange-rate fluctuations, taxes and regulatory changes.
Ensure transparency of total landed costs for equipment, spare parts and project-related materials.
Analyze inventory performance, stock levels, obsolescence risks and working capital efficiency.
Monitor relevant Supply Chain KPIs, including inventory turnover, logistics costs and delivery performance.
Identify cost-reduction and supply chain optimization opportunities across the region.
Governance, Compliance & Business Partnering
Ensure compliance with
Bosch policies, internal controls, governance standards and approval processes
.
Participate in operational and financial process reviews across Latin America.
Identify process deviations, control weaknesses and operational risks, defining and following up on corrective actions.
Act as a trusted financial advisor to regional and country management teams.
Challenge business assumptions and provide
fact-based recommendations
.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Service, Project Management, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance.
Support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in
Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Accounting
, or a related field.
Minimum
5 years of experience in Business Controlling, Financial Controlling, Commercial Finance or similar roles
.
Experience in
industrial, manufacturing, engineering, capital equipment or project-driven businesses
.
Experience in
project controlling and profitability management
.
Previous experience in
multinational or regional environments
, interacting with stakeholders from different countries.
Experience with corporate processes, guidelines, internal controls, compliance or governance.
Experience with
Supply Chain cost analysis, Logistics, Inventory Controlling and/or Operational Finance
is highly valued.




Strong financial and analytical capabilities with a business-partnering mindset.
Ability to influence cross-functional and senior stakeholders
without direct authority
.
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
Experience with
SAP FI/CO and advanced Excel
.
Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools are desirable.
Availability to travel internationally across Latin America.
Languages
Fluent English – Mandatory.
Fluent Spanish – Mandatory.
Portuguese is a plus.
English will be used regularly to communicate financial and business results and to
prepare and deliver presentations to international stakeholders, including teams in Germany
.
