Key Responsibilities
1.
Business
Development &
- Sales
- Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia in line with TCL Solar's overall business objectives.
- Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities with key customers, including distributors, EPC contractors, IPPs, project developers, utilities, installers and other relevant solar industry stakeholders.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers and PV projects from lead generation through negotiation, contract signing and order execution.
- Achieve assigned sales, revenue, volume and margin targets for the designated territory.
- Develop long-term business relationships with strategic customers and continuously expand TCL Solar's customer base and market presence.
- Monitor sales opportunities, project progress, order status and customer payment/collection status throughout the sales cycle.
2.
Key Account
Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
- Understand customers' business models, project requirements, purchasing strategies and future demand.
- Act as the primary commercial contact for assigned customers and coordinate internally to ensure timely and effective responses.
- Support customers throughout the order execution process and proactively resolve commercial or operational issues.
- Strengthen customer loyalty and identify opportunities for repeat orders and long-term cooperation.
3.
Commercial
Negotiation &
- Contract Management
- Lead commercial discussions and negotiations with customers, including pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties and other contractual conditions.
- Prepare and review commercial proposals, quotations, tenders and sales-related documents.
- Coordinate with internal teams including product, technical, legal, finance, logistics and supply chain teams to facilitate contract execution and order fulfillment.
- Monitor market pricing and competitive dynamics to ensure commercially competitive offers while protecting company margins.
4.
Market
Development &
- Market Intelligence
- Conduct regular market research and monitor PV market trends, customer demand, competitor activities, module pricing and market dynamics within Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia.
- Track relevant government policies, regulations, import requirements, tariffs, certification requirements and other factors that may affect the PV module business.
- Provide timely and actionable market intelligence and business insights to the regional sales management team and headquarters.
- Identify new market opportunities, potential strategic partners and emerging customer segments.
5. Product &
- Technical Communication
- Maintain a solid understanding of TCL Solar's PV module portfolio, product specifications, technical features and key competitive advantages.
- Communicate product value propositions effectively to customers and provide appropriate commercial and basic technical support during the sales process.
- Coordinate with technical and product teams to address customer technical requirements, product inquiries and project-specific specifications.
- Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, product presentations and project evaluations when required.
6. Customer &
- Market Engagement
- Represent TCL Solar at local and international solar exhibitions, conferences, industry events, customer meetings and business networking activities.
- Organize and conduct customer visits, product presentations and business meetings.
- Build relationships with key industry stakeholders, strategic partners and relevant local market networks.
- Support TCL Solar's brand building and market expansion activities within the assigned territory.
7.
Sales
Reporting &
- Internal Coordination
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipelines, customer information and opportunity forecasts.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, business reports, market updates and win/loss analyses.
- Provide accurate forecasts regarding sales volume, project timing, customer demand and potential risks.
- Work closely with headquarters and regional teams to ensure effective coordination across sales, product, technical, finance, logistics and other functions.
- Perform other sales and business development activities as reasonably required by the company.
Qualifications &
- Requirements
Education
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Renewable Energy, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant professional qualifications or industry certifications will be considered an advantage.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant sales or business development experience in the solar PV industry.
- Proven experience in
PV module sales is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with distributors, EPC contractors, IPPs, project developers, utilities or other solar industry customers is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop new customers, manage sales pipelines and close commercial deals.
- Experience in the Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay,Bolivia market and established local customer or industry networks will be a strong advantage.
Industry &
- Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of the solar PV industry, PV module products and the overall PV value chain.
- Good understanding of PV project development, EPC business models, distribution channels and major customer segments.
- Ability to understand and communicate PV module technical specifications and product advantages to customers.
- Familiarity with PV system design, project economics, module certification and applicable local market requirements is an advantage.
- Experience with PV simulation tools such as PVsyst or PV*SOL is a plus, but not mandatory.
Language Skills
- Fluent English
, both written and spoken, is required.
- Fluency in
Spanish is highly preferred where applicable.
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese or other relevant local/regional languages is considered a strong advantage.

Other Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory and internationally when required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally are preferred where relevant.
- Existing relationships with key PV customers, distributors, EPCs, IPPs or project developers in the assigned market will be considered a significant advantage.
