Position Mission
Ensure the correct definition, acquisition, installation, commissioning and validation of new production equipment, guaranteeing compliance with the technical, quality, safety and performance requirements established by the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and formalise technical specifications for the acquisition of industrial equipment and production systems.
- Conduct technical analyses of supplier proposals and support the Purchasing department throughout the selection and negotiation process.
- Define and monitor project plans and schedules, from equipment acquisition through to installation and commissioning.
- Coordinate the physical reception, installation, integration and commissioning of new production equipment.
- Define the main project stages and milestones, as well as the associated quality and validation plan.
- Coordinate the integration of equipment into the production line and ensure that it achieves the required performance levels and objectives.
- Ensure the correct integration of the product into the industrial process, considering machinery, part-fixturing systems and tooling.
- Participate in the development and optimisation of gravity casting processes for aluminium components, particularly cylinder heads.
- Ensure the proper setup, start-up and stabilisation of production equipment.
- Identify,
analyse and formally document any elements requiring approval, monitoring or auditing.
- Prepare and update technical process documentation, including process parameters, work instructions and operating documentation.
- Define and monitor training and knowledge-transfer plans related to new production equipment.
- Apply quality and problem-solving tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagrams and Fault Tree Analysis.
- Maintain collaborative technical relationships with suppliers within the scope of responsibility.
Technical Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in gravity aluminium casting.
- Experience in the industrialisation, integration or commissioning of production equipment and systems.
- Knowledge of industrial processes and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of quality and root-cause analysis tools:
- 5 Whys;
- Ishikawa Diagram;
- Fault Tree Analysis.
- Experience in the technical management and monitoring of suppliers.
- Knowledge of core making will be considered an advantage.
