Procurement Assistant / Asistente de Compras

Location: Santiago, Chile

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $750,000 -$900,000 CLP per month, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Monday–Friday

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Procurement Assistant to join our team in Santiago, Chile. The successful candidate will support daily purchasing and procurement activities, coordinate with suppliers, process purchase orders, and help ensure that goods and services are acquired efficiently, accurately, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the procurement team with day-to-day purchasing activities.
- Request and compare supplier quotations.
- Create and follow up on purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, delivery dates, and invoices.
- Monitor orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Assist with supplier evaluation and vendor relationship management.
- Maintain purchasing databases and reports.
- Support inventory and stock replenishment activities.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Warehouse, and other internal departments.
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and control costs.




- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements
- 1- 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or administration.
- Technical or professional studies in Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP or purchasing systems is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good negotiation and supplier-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
