Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Mining Operations Coordinator to coordinate daily mining activities, personnel, equipment, materials, and operational resources while ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous production.

The successful candidate will work closely with mining, maintenance, logistics, safety, contractors, and management teams to ensure operational targets are achieved in accordance with Chilean mining regulations, company standards, environmental requirements, and health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily mining and operational activities to support production targets.
- Organize personnel, equipment, materials, contractors, and other operational resources.
- Monitor productivity, equipment availability, operational performance, and key performance indicators.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Logistics, Safety, and other departments.
- Identify operational issues, delays, and risks and coordinate corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and operational procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with site requirements.
- Support planning and execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate operational documentation and records.




- Promote a strong safety culture and immediately report unsafe conditions.
- Support management in achieving production, cost, quality, and efficiency objectives.

Requirements
- Technical or professional qualification in Mining, Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in mining operations or a related industrial environment.
- Experience coordinating personnel, equipment, contractors, and operational resources.
- Knowledge of mining safety standards and Chilean regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate/advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with SAP, ERP, Power BI, or mining management systems is an advantage.
- Availability to work at mining sites and under rotational shift schedules.
- Valid Chilean driver's license is an advantage.
- English proficiency is desirable.
