Construction Quality Specialist

Salary: $1.500.000 - $1.950.000 CLP líquidos mensuales, depending on experience and qualifications

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Quality Specialist to join our project team in Chile. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities, materials, processes, and documentation comply with approved plans, technical specifications, quality standards, and applicable Chilean regulations.

The role will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, supervisors, and site teams to identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure that construction works are delivered to the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct quality inspections of construction activities and materials on site.
- Verify that work complies with drawings, technical specifications, approved procedures, and project requirements.
- Identify, document, and follow up on quality deviations and non-conformities.
- Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, checklists, photographs, and records.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with contractors and project teams.
- Support the development and implementation of project Quality Management Plans.
- Review documentation, material certificates, test results, and inspection records.
- Monitor quality control activities throughout construction and project closeout.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits.
- Coordinate with the ITO, construction management, subcontractors, and clients regarding quality matters.
- Promote continuous improvement and a strong quality culture across the project.

Requirements
- Degree or technical qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in construction quality control, QA/QC, inspection, or related roles.




- Strong knowledge of construction processes and quality control procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of applicable Chilean construction standards and regulations.
- Experience preparing quality reports and managing non-conformities.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Experience with ISO 9001 or construction quality management systems is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-scale construction, infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Knowledge of BIM or construction management platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Experience with audits, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
- Knowledge of Chilean NCh standards and OGUC requirements.
- Professional engineering or construction certification.

Compensation & Benefits Monthly Salary: $1.500.000 - $1.950.000 CLP líquidos The final salary will be determined according to professional experience, technical qualifications, project experience, and responsibilities.
